Benji gets in the passenger seide of his and Joel's jeep.  Pushing Paul out of the way.

 

"Hey! I called shotgun!"

"your not going to deny me the wonderful privelage of sitting next to my darling brother Joel are you?"

"Fine.  I never win." says Paul poutingly

 

 Benji hops in and takes a look around the parking lot at the last few stragglers who are leaving school late.

 

"Geez Joel, we're never this late.  What the fuck were you doing staying after class?"

"uhhh....nothing...just dropped my stuff off at my locker"

"yeah...okay..."

 

 Benji spots Billy crossing the parking lot.

"Joel! lets see if Billy wants a ride or something."

 

Joel gives Benji and weird look but drives over towards Billy anyway.  Benji gets out of the jeep and goes over towards Billy.  He looks back and notices Paul has taken the front seat. (Oh well, this means I get to be in the back with Billy)

 

"hey Billy, do you want a ride home?"

"Sure!  My ride left without me, I thought I was going to have to walk home."

"no problem."

 

Billy and Benji climb into the back seat of the jeep.

 

"Where do you live Billy?" says Joel and he turns down the radio

"Up near..."

"Why don't you come over to our house Billy!" Benji exclaims cutting Billy off mid-sentence.

"Uh sure sounds good to me.  I hate my house anyway."

 

Joel glances ack at Benji and gives him a quizzical look.  Benji has never been this excited to have a friend over before.  He's acting almost...girlish.  Paul turns up the radio and all is
quickly forgotten as they jam to an awesome new Deftones song.
